This week in class we tried to make ourselves an outsider by looking at clips from popular media.  In this picture somebody noticed the presence of order and disorder simultaneously.  I found this to be most interesting because I notice this in other aspects of my own life.  As I look around my room I notice that certain areas function better if it is thoroughly organized, while other areas rely on a sort of cluttered mess.

  1. Like you JT I found the activity interesting. I enjoyed reading the different perspectives from everyone in class.

  2. I totally agree with your last statement. Some things work out just fine being a mess. I can barely find my things if theyre all organized because it would be in a different place. It would take me forever to find 'em.

  3. JT, I think that it's really cool that everybody sees different things when they are looking in from the outside. Everybody has different perceptions of things and i find that very interesting.

  4. We all see things differently and that is why it is good have multiple perspectives on one idea. Everyone can contribute something that someone else may not have caught.

  5. Oh, interesting observation about differences in space and organization. I notice this even in myself. Sometimes I work pretty well with papers everywhere... I think it is once I am started with something. But I often have a hard time getting started if everything seems messy to start with... hmmm... you have me thinking about this more now.
