During our previous class,  we explored different games that provide us with a pleasant challenge.  Several games were introduced, but one stuck out to me.  Llama or Duck is a game that provides a very quick challenge-relief type of scenario.  Your time to make a decision is limited to a matter of seconds.  It presents you with a picture of either a llama or a duck and you have to indicate which animal it is.  The speed of the game keeps the player constantly on edge, preparing themselves to make a quick decision.  This is probably most similar to types of writing like texting or group blogging.  In texting or group blogging, the pace of the conversation is much faster than communication through e-mail or writing an essay.  Both texting and Llama or Duck provide a quick input and output, as far as interaction goes.

  2. Even though this game seems very easy I believe it can be seen as very educational and productive. Decision making is a large part of learning and with this game your ability to do such is heightened!

  3. The image you provided caught my attention. I was like...why O.o? I agree with you completely. Texting is faster than email. From what I see on memes, if you don't reply fast enough, the other person may get paranoid. XD

  4. I played Llama Duck in class as well and I was definitely on edge as you said. I like how you compared the game to texting and group blogging. It completely makes sense and I didn't think about it like that!

  5. I cannot get more than three in a row in this game. I am wondering if it is too challenging (for me)... reminds me of other learning situations though, where it just seems hard and too hard and then all of a sudden things start making sense. I hope I have a llama duck moment of learning soon. #stuckonthree
